Dozens of students lined up in front of the Grilled Cheese Truck as it made its campus debut on Tuesday, providing an alternate food source for students.
The truck is the latest in a series of alternate food options the administration is providing students, which include Papa John’s Pizza and Herb’s Heavenly Hot Dogs. It is currently stationed in front of the Technology Building, and will be here Monday through Thursday between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. said Darlene Melby, the college business services manager.
Jonathan Brooks, the truck’s manager, was pleased with the first-day turnout.
“It was awesome, we did about 325 tickets,” Brooks said. “People seemed to dig it.”
Student government was also pleased with the truck’s arrival, and hopes for more options in the future.
“I think it provides more food options on campus other than pizza and hot dogs,” said Chelsea Vanicek, director of public relations for the Associated Students.
