Visit Here! – E. Main Street, Downtown Ventura | Destination

E. Main Street in Downtown Ventura gives people the opportunity to go thrift shopping, eat some delicious food, and enjoy the beach breeze. Downtown Ventura is home to five thrift stores that offer affordable clothing, footwear and home goods.

Prices are reasonable and the stores donate portions of their proceeds to individuals with disabilities, survivors of sexual assault and those in need.

Killing time is super easy when on the hunt for good bargains. The best items are usually found after a day of digging and combing through stores.

After getting some thrift shopping done, the best place to grab a snack is at Palermo. An urban euro cafe, Palermo sells locally roasted coffee, tea and some of the best gelato in Ventura County.

Although a little pricey, the coffee shop offers great food and good vibes. Outdoor seating is available for patrons to people watch, sip a latte and bask in the warm sun.

E. Main Street is filled with a variety of restaurants, bars and local clothing stores. There is something for everyone and the beach is just a 20 minute walk away.

Depop is a social shopping app where users can buy, sell and discover new fashions. The app is based in London but users are from all over the world. With an easy to navigate layout, the main page features an explore page and search bar. Quickly find specific styles or brands by searching using keywords and descriptions.

Sellers are able to set their prices and negotiations are always possible through direct messaging. This eliminates the frustration of dealing with a website or corporation as the middle man and helps the buyer purchase directly from the source.

Depop functions like Instagram where users can follow other users and stay updated on new items. Funky and cool aesthetics line the homepage and the best part is everything is for sale.

From brand names to thrifted items, Depop has it all. Jean jackets, Doc Martins and more are waiting to be discovered.

Flavours #1-6, are mixtapes featuring hype party music, 90s R&B and electronic dance music. Created by DJ and Producer DŸLN, the mixes have been released over a two year period, with the latest released in early November 2019.

DŸLN, based in Southern California, has released 15 total tracks since 2017, managing to receive over 5 million plays on SoundCloud. DŸLN has performed live DJ shows in both Los Angeles and San Diego.

Released in 2017, Flavors #2 is the second of six mixes released by DŸLN. The mix features R&B music from the 90s and 00s. Songs from Ja Rule, T-Pain and more will get you off your feet and vibing to the music.
