On Thursday, April 29, the Moorpark Raiders took on the Santa Barbara Vaqueros in their final home game of the season. The Raiders had RHP Cody Carson on the bump to start the game and the Vaqueros had LHP Colby Downard starting.
On Thursday, April 21, The Raiders took on the Pierce College Bulls. Starting for the Raiders was LHP Dylan Swanson, while The Bulls had RHP Jorge Romero on the bump to start the game.
On Tuesday, April 12, the Raiders looked to continue their season winning streak against LA Valley College. Starting for the Raiders was RHP Noah Balandran, and for the visiting La Valley Monarchs, RHP Josh Wood.
The Moorpark Raiders and Cuesta Cougars clashed once again on Thursday, March 17th. The Cougars came into the game leading the series one game to none, already having beaten the Raiders 8-0 on Tuesday.
The Baseball Hall of Fame vote has once again come in 2022. In his first year of eligibility, David Ortiz was the only player selected with a voting percentage of 77.9%. In their final year of eligibility, Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens did not receive the required 75% votes needed to be elected to the Hall.
After a 0-1 loss in the first game of the doubleheader, the Moorpark Raiders bounced back against Oxnard College on Saturday afternoon. Game two was quite the opposite of the low-scoring first game.
Moorpark College beats Bakersfield College 7-0, 4-0 in opening day double-header. The sun was high in the sky as the Moorpark College Raiders took on the Bakersfield College Renegades in a double-header to open up the abridged 2021 season.
