3.8 Magnitude Earthquake hits Ventura County

As reported by the United States Geological Survey, a magnitude 3.8 earthquake took place around 4:25 p.m. six miles NorthWest of Santa Paula on Feb. 10. The earthquake had a depth of 14 miles.

Athens Services is now Thousand Oaks’ New Trash Service Company

The city of Thousand Oaks has signed a 15-year contract with Athens Services, a trash service company. The contract includes waste hauling, recycling, and street-sweeping services beginning Jan. 1, 2022. Athens Services aims to make the waste collection more sustainable.
