Madina Safdari, Student Life Desk Editor
Madina Safdari is the Student Life Desk Editor and a Staff Writer for the Moorpark Reporter. Her passion for journalism has fostered since high school where she was the Editor-in-Chief of her school paper and covered campus stories. Her summer internship at the Los Angeles Times taught her valuable multimedia skills like video editing, photography, and gave her professional reporting experience. Now as a member of the Moorpark Reporter, Safdari has gained more experience with reporting out in the field and editing. Expected to transfer from Moorpark College in 2020 with associate degrees in Psychology and Journalism, Safdari hopes to always pursue writing.
