The bookstore will be handing out more than books this week because students can pick up a free pumpkin as a part of Oxnard College’s annual pumpkin decorating contest.
Prizes will go to the winners in several categories, including scariest, most humorous, most creative and children’s best overall.
Pumpkins will be available until Oct. 30, and judging will take place at 11 a.m. on Halloween.
