Talented students and teachers of Garfield High School in Los Angeles performed multicultural dances and musical presentations for students and other attendees of Moorpark College’s Multicultural day.
The dance students, who varied in age from high school freshmen to seniors, performed Flamenco dances from various different countries including: the Salsa, from Cuba and Puerto Rico; the Sevillanas, from Spain; an Argentinean Tango and a machete dance from Mexico. This occured in-between dance performances, singers entertained the audience with popular songs from Russia, France, Greece, the U.S. and Israel.
According to the director of the high school’s dance program, the program is here for the audience’s entertainment.
