Fashionistas look out, there’s a new fashion forward retailer in town!
Stylish clothing at affordable prices has found its way back to the Simi Valley Town Center at the new retailer “Q”. The store features a variety of clothing ranging from maxi dresses to blazers to blouses and everything in between. So far, people are raving about the new store.
Paul Kim, store manager, said that the store has had lots of traffic.
“People who come in spend a lot of money because of cheap and good quality clothes,” said Kim.
“Q” is short for “Fashion Q” which first opened its doors to Simi Valley on Aug. 10. It resides where the former Eddie Bauer used to be.
“Business has been better than expected,” said Kim.
The age group for the targeted females ranges from middle school age to 50 years old.
“All the customers that have come in have been great so far,” said Kim.
Not only do the customers love the great clothing and prices, such as the $5 bra wall, or the $4 basic tees and shorts, but the employees are as well.
Jenny Mendez, 18, a sales associate at “Q,” admitted that she and her coworkers “can’t stop buying.”
Another sales associate, Sara Her, 20, currently a Moorpark College student majoring in Criminal Justice, said that she shopped at “Q” even before she got the job there. She compared the varied pace of customer flow and business from other stores at the mall.
“A lot of people feel like coming in,” said Mendez.
Customers too are buzzing about this new retailer. Heidi Binder, 19, majoring in Child Development at Moorpark College, raved about “Q.”
“It has a really good selection of things that are really good prices, especially for people on a budget,” said Binder.
Not only are customers excited for the new store, but future applicants are eager to work at the newest addition to the Simi Town Center. Kim said they currently have no open positions because there are so many applicants already!
With over 40 different locations in California and Arizona, and more stores set to open, “Q” is only going to get bigger and better. For more information on “Q,” go to the Simi Town Center and check it out, or go to the store’s website at FashionQ1982.com.
