Dear Denny’s:
For as long as I’ve been a customer at your fine diners, I’ve always ordered only one thing: the mini burgers with a side of fries. Despite the horrible stomach pains I’ve always had after eating those delicious tiny burgers, I’ve always gone back because those little patties have always been worth it. But two nights ago when I ordered the mini burgers, the waitress told me they were no longer on the menu.
I could not believe my ears and feverishly scoured the menu to see if it was true. Now I could not believe my eyes and frantically searched the menu over and over again. After being calmed down by my friends and the waitress, I finally accepted the truth and ordered the chicken ranch melt instead.
Although delicious in its own right, the chicken ranch melt was nothing compared to the mini burgers. I do not understand why the mini burgers have been taken off the menu and I feel I deserve some sort of explanation for your decision. This would be okay if there was a White Castle in our local area but there isn’t. Denny’s currently held the monopoly on the mini burgers market so I fail to see a logical reason to banish them.
I cannot be the only one that feels this way. I expect a prompt reply and I hope you will make the right decision and put the mini burgers back on the menu.
Sincerely,
Eric Lee
