It’s that time of year again. It crunch time and many students use poor study habits. Here are some helpful tips:
· Do your homework throughout the year
· Make sure that you show up to the second to last class before the final because many teachers will review for what is going to be on the final.
· Pay attention to the review
· Don’t cram. It never works!
· Spread out study time
The MC Learning Center also offers a variety of tools that may help to study for your final.
The worst possible thing that a student can do before a final is stay up all night studying, said Patrick Halcrow, an Electrical Engineering major and a tutor at the Learning Center. For more information about the Learning Center in the library visit room 322 or call Judith Hunt at 805-378-1556.
