Students and their special Valentine will be able to get hitched for 24 hours for a fundraiser hosted by the EOPSSA at Ventura College on this Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14.
Those who wish to participate can pay $5 and receive a wedding ceremony, rings, two mock wedding certificates and a wedding picture. For additional fun, newlyweds can upgrade to a ring-pop wedding rings or receive a bouquet for $2 more.
The weddings will last from 10 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the VC quad area outside of the Student Activities Center with music provided by local DJ Justin Sy.
There will be no restrictions on who or what students are allowed to wed. All are welcome to attend to support the fundraiser and proceeds will go to the EOPSSA club for trips to universities and scholarships.
