I went out on Tuesday this week to look for expensive articles left in people’s cars to submit to the Student Voice.
First of all, I have to say that it was blazing hot on Tuesday at 2:30 in the afternoon on that blacktop, surrounded by huge chunks of metal. The first thing I noticed through my ever increasing beads of sweat was that I wasn’t finding anything of value in anyone’s car.
The second thing I was becoming aware of was that I felt like I was the one who was on the prowl. When I did find a car with some CDs in open view, the sun was glaring so much that I couldn’t even get a shot worthy of saving none the less showing.
So I left the parking lot with my tail between my legs, hot and sweaty with no pictures. Although what I did do was set up my own car with an ipod and wallet in the cup holder, roll down the window and there was my shot of what not to leave in your front seat while at school.
