The Moorpark College Dance department present’s the ‘Speaking Movement,’ a show that entails an exciting and well-rounded night with many different dance varieties that include Modern, Jazz, Ballet and Hip-Hop to be held in Moorpark’s Performing Arts Center.
Carly Bagingito, Moorpark student, expressed how excited she was for the show and that she always looks forward to Moorpark’s Dance shows.
“I’m definitely going to opening night!” stated Bagingito. “It’s just something about their shows that brings excitement to me and the crowd.”
Bagingito stated that she used to dance and going to shows like these make her really miss it.
Speaking movement is directed by Beth Megill but choreographed by faculty and students, as well as guest artists.
You are encouraged to come out this weekend and enjoy the show, where you will supporting students at your school and will be able to see the time and effort that has been put into this event.
The shows dates are Nov. 17, 18 and 19 at 8 p.m. in the Moorpark Performing Arts Center and a matinee show on Nov. 20 at 2 p.m.
Tickets for Speaking Movement are available to the Box Office at Moorpark College, and prices are Adults $15, Student/Senior/Child/Staff tickets are $10.
