If you enjoy both the beach and baseball, this is the perfect weekend for you.

The Bash at the Beach Baseball Tournament will begin this week at Ventura College. It begins on Thursday Jan. 29, and runs through Sunday Feb. 1. The tournament includes five different teams, three of which are from the WSC conference. The teams include Cerro Coso and Victor Valley. Additionally, Ventura College, Oxnard College and Santa Barbara City College will be in the same league.

This tournament should contain some very good baseball games, against some of the top baseball teams that Southern California has to offer. According to an email from Ventura College Head Coach Don Adams, Santa Barbara is ranked 14th in Southern California, Cerro Coso is 19th, and Ventura College is 21st.

Ventura College will have five All WSC players from last year. This should be a very competitive and well played weekend of baseball.
