On Tuesday Oct. 28, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Associated Students of Moorpark College will host their annual Club Day.
Rachna Arhi, A.S. Director of Organizations has high hopes for this year’s Club Day.
“Club promotion gets students more actively involved with organizations on campus and informs the students the wide variety of organizations housed here on campus,” said Arhi.
Last year, 12 out of the 25 clubs at Moorpark College were represented; more are expected this year. The Associated Students will be there with a list of all the clubs on campus and explain how you can join, even if some clubs are unable to attend.
With Halloween just around the corner, this year’s Club Day theme will be a spooky one, with an entrance of a haunted house and exiting into a neighborhood of eerie clubs.
Justin Cowles, President of the new Political Science Association, is excited about the Club Day opportunity.
“I want students to know about our club and that it is open to all who have any kind of interest in politics,” he said.
Come and join Associated Students in front of the Campus Center and see what clubs Moorpark College has to offer. Enter through the A.S. Haunted House and receive a special trick or treat goodie bag to take along with you and get a treat from each of the campus clubs.
Arhi would also like students to be open-minded when viewing the clubs.
Club day only comes once a year and is only for 2 hours so mark your calendars and get ready for a spooky day of fun.
