The End of Spring 2-day event is planned for April 25 and 27. Each day is themed with lots of food starting at 11 a.m. and lasting until 2 p.m., or when the food supply runs out. The festivities will provide students the opportunity to meet representativesof VC student organizations and encourage them to get involved on campus. Events will be held in the quad and in front of the Learning Resource Center.
ASVC, the ICC, a division of the ASVC, along with active club representatives, organized the end of spring 2-day event in hopes to make the school more enjoyable for the students. It is a shortened version of the original 4-day event modified due to administrative event scheduling conflicts.
Other contributions they have made toward their cause include organizing Club Day held in the quad Feb. 14, and donating time and money to update areas on campus such as the Transfer Center and the soon to be renovated Internet Café.
Ice Cream Give-A-Way day on April 25 will be located by the LRC. The ASVC is serving barbecue tri-tip sandwiches for Food Fair Day on April 27 in the quad, costing $2 with an ASB student ID cards or $3 without.
Active organizations, such as the Pre-Med Society, Psychology Club, and other organizations, will be available at the events to provide information for students interested in taking part in their endeavors or creating new clubs.
