Even in college students are still struggling to find studying methods. Flash cards, rest and hydration are just a few methods that can help students study proficiently.
Everybody seems to have their own personal preference of how to study, and even a particular way that they prepare for an exam.
Paige Andrews who is a MC student has a more traditional take on studying practices and said; “Studying can be a piece of cake if one has the right tools, for me flash cards and study guides are a huge help.”
Andrews also talked about the things that helped her achieved success in high school and commented; “Time management is also a huge thing, don’t procrastinate because then you will be scrambling and your studying will be way less efficient. I like to form study groups as well, it’s nice having help from other students. It also makes studying a lot more fun!”
Clinton Thornton who is taking classes here at MC shared her altered views on the subject, and says that she believes good studying comes mainly from how you take care of yourself.
Thornton said; “I always study more efficiently after I’m well rested and hydrated; you need fuel in your tank in order to get things done.”
Although these are two very different takes on how one should study, they both seem to be very promising. .”
Thornton who kept her healthy trend going when she stated said, “It’s very important to take breaks, and everyone needs a quick ten minute break to recuperate. Get a snack or some fresh air!”
