Students looking for work can still find opportunities at the Simi Valley Town Center as more shops open and existing stores look for holiday help.
More than 200 jobs are still available at stores including Macy’s, Robinsons May, Best Buy, Express Men and Women, Coach, Urban Outfitters, Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister, American Eagle, Bath and Body Works, California Pizza Kitchen and Starbucks said Vicki Sherman, director of marketing at the Simi Valley Town Center.
“I would encourage the Moorpark College students to apply to this new center because I myself was a college student working in retail,” said Sherman. “Anyone who has an energetic personality and has customer service qualities; they would make a great asset for the Simi Valley Town Center.”
The Town Center opened Oct. 27, just north of the 118 freeway, between Erringer Road and First Street in Simi Valley. It features 120 shops, restaurants, and entertainment destinations in 600,000 square feet.
By the end of the month, there will also be a job opportunities section on their website, www.simivalleytc.com. There will be a binder at the guest services center located at the base of the tower in the center court, Sherman said. “The tenants will let us know if they are looking for certain positions and it will be in the binder for any interested applicants to look at,” she said.
With the busiest part of the season closing in, the Simi Valley Town Center still is keeping open doors to anyone who still interested in applying.
