Moorpark College will be opening its doors for the popular 5th annual Moorpark Beer Tasting Festival this Saturday Oct. 11 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. With great success the last few years, procrastinators may have a problem, as getting tickets may prove difficult.

“The Moorpark Beer Festival has sold out completely the last two years and we don’t want anyone to miss the festival because they were waiting for the Groupon,” the Beer Festival confirms on their website. “If you were waiting, go ahead and purchase your tickets.”

Both local and regional breweries will be participating in the festivities, coming as far as San Diego and the Bay Area. The website also states that the festival will be offering several food trucks, a long list of musical entertainment, and even free parking and Smart Shuttle rides home.

The Moorpark Beer Tasting Festival will not only be bringing entertainment to the community, but the proceeds of which will prove to be a great benefit as well. With all of the proceeds directly going to the Moorpark Morning Rotary Club Foundation, local schools and community organizations will be supported.

This event is open to all who are over the legal drinking age. Tickets for general admission are currently $50 and for non-drinking attendees $25. With a variety of breweries, food options, and entertainment this looks to be a great activity for the upcoming weekend.
