The Magician’s Society works to spread the knowledge and skill of magic to students interested in the practice.
Club president Daniel Rathaus opens up his meetings for discussion and videos as well as demoing, teaching, and helping students to preform new tricks.
The club encourages students to join because magic can be a very useful skill.
“It can help with public speaking, building self-confidence, and it’s nice having a hobby in your pocket that is easy to share with others,” says Rathaus. “Magic is a very diverse collection of practices and it’s not just for kids.”
Magician’s society has been meeting on Wednesdays at 2:30 p.m. in the cafeteria, but has no set schedule yet.
