The Physics and Astronomy Club are a group of students who love to get together to talk and watch videos about space related things in order to expose students to the subjects.
Although they are a new club and meeting times have not been set, their meetings are usually on Wednesdays at noon in P.S. room 207, and they often provide food for their members.
“We urge students to join because it is so much fun and it really changes you point of view,” said club president Samar Alghaalaei.
The club hopes to create a legacy on campus so that it stays around for longer than the members of the club are here.
“We want to show people that science isn’t some boring and lame subject, it’s more about discovering a new perspective on the world,” said physics major Eric Cole.
