There is an opportunity on campus tomorrow for students who are not sure about which university is a good fit for them.
Transfer day will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Raider Walk and admission officers will help answer questions that students might have about the transferring process.
It is Counselor Donald Munshower’s first year coordinating this event and he assures students that it is very beneficial.
“Many students don’t have a chance to visit the campuses that they want to transfer to and this is a great chance for them to ask those important questions about the campus,” said Munshower.
Munshower believes this event will help shape students’ future in transferring to university. This is the perfect opportunity for students to become informed about various universities such as UCLA and CSUN.
Stephany Reyes, a former Moorpark College student who is now attending Cal-State Channel Islands, took part and experienced several Transfer Day events.
“Representatives there provide you with the assistance you’re seeking,” said Reyes. “Also, go even if you’re unsure of what school you’d like to go to and don’t be afraid to ask anything because they’ll gladly answer anything you have to ask”.
