The minimum wage rate has been a trending topic and the Student Voice wanted to know which side Moorpark students would side with: to be or not to be paid more for minimum wage?
A total of 34 people voted in this poll and more than half, 56 percent, voted no. Nineteen students believe that raising the wage rate would cause more harm than good.
That leaves the other 44 percent, or 15 votes, to the students who feel the raise in wage rate would benefit them and the rest of society.
