Moorpark Women’s Basketball championship run cut short due to the Coronavirus

The incredible season by the Moorpark Raiders (27-1, 8-0) and their nineteen game win streak came to a devastating end this week as the 2020 CCCAA Women’s Basketball State Tournament was canceled due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Women’s Basketball returns to state tournament following a dominant win over Cypress Chargers

The Moorpark Raiders (27-1, 8-0) took turns climbing the ladder up to the basketball net after their dominant victory over Cypress (21-7, 9-3) 70-39 as the coaches and players each clipped off a piece of the net to celebrate the teams return to the state tournament.

Moorpark Raiders open up playoffs with a dominant victory over Riverside

Guard Jazzy Carrasco reached 1000 career points scored with Moorpark Saturday night as the Moorpark Raiders (26-1, 8-0) began the playoffs locked in as they handled Riverside (16-12, 7-5) 96-65.
