Annie Smith (Meyerhoff), a final semester student, is a staff writer for the Moorpark Reporter currently majoring in Journalism. In addition to being a student, she works full time in the medical field, just got married and is the mom to a beautiful goldendoodle that she dotes on 24/7. While she enjoys journalism, over time she has realized writing children's books may be her true passion. Although until recently she was an Oak Park native, Annie currently lives in Albuquerque, NM while her husband is finishing medical school to become a pediatric doctor. As long as she has her husband, her puppy and a laptop to continue her pursuit of a writing career, she is happy.
