Governor Newsom pulls emergency brake on reopening and announces the possibility of a curfew

California Governor Gavin Newsom announced the state’s emergency brake on the COVID-19 tier system as 28 counties move back into the purple tier in a press conference on Nov. 16.

Drive-Thru Trick or Treating to be hosted by Ventura County Sheriffs Department

The Ventura County Sheriff's department plans to host the first ever drive-thru trick or treating event. Due to the Public Health recommendation, there will be no door to door trick or treating in Ventura County this year.

Virtual learning has been tough on students of all ages. In March, the world was transformed into learning a new reality due to Covid-19. Many were faced with job-loss, wearing a mask and quarantining. One extremely big change was school being out and switching to virtual learning.
