Three Multicultural Day Design winners were announced Tuesday by the Multicultural Day Committee.
Lead by Professor Jerrold Caplan, the students were asked to design a logo for the Multicultural Day event, which is to be held on April 15 at Moorpark College.
Andrea “Andy” Richards won the first place award, along with two runner-ups.
Richards was awarded $200 and her design will be used on shopping bags, t-shirts, tank tops, and hooded sweatshirts, which will be available for sale before and during Multicultural Day.
The two runner-ups to the Logo Design Contest were Donna Wade and Lindsey Harley, who each received $50.
