Have you ever been in class and suddenly you became distracted? It happens all the time. Especially if your class’ door is wide open since you can here all the noises from the outside. You hear people talking, the maintenance workers at work, etc. It seems the other students don’t care when a class is in session as they continue to be loud when talking to the friends.
Another distracting that often occurs is with someone’s cell phone. It ruins the lecture or discussion when someone’s phone goes off. How hard is it to put your phone on vibrate? Not hard at all. It is very distracting because it makes every student in class refocus their attention from the professor to them. Nobody wants to hear your wack ringtone so you should just changed it to vibrate which is less annoying.
