The popular improvisational comedy, Improv-a-Sutra, returns to Moorpark College for some more “giggles in compromising places.”
The improv performances will include much audience participation, and this weekend’s show will follow the theme “living on the edge.”
Two of last semester’s players, Danielle Kaufman, a 19-year-old film/theater major, and David Wright, a 19-year-old theater major will be back to join in on the fun. However, the majority of the performers will be fresh faces. John Loprieno, the group’s director, is excited to see these young comedians show their stuff.
” I love working with a fresh group because the dynamic and overall texture of the group changes and we have to find our own personality,” Loprieno said.
Performances will be Oct. 10 and 17 at 7:30 p.m. in PA-100. Tickets will cost $5. For seating reservations or more information, please call the Performing Arts Center box office at (805) 378-1485.
