Lets face it, buying gifts is tough, and with not so much money in your pockets, it might be hard trying to find that perfect gift. Here are some gift ideas for a few of your loved ones that are less than $100.
For Moms: Moms love to be appreciated, and buying her something that you know that she will appreciate is important. Handbags are always a nice choice, which you can find at any department store, but you can also be creative and tailor to one of her specific interests.
If your Mom loves coffee, I suggest buying her the Starbucks Coffee Press Gift Pack for $39.95, available at StarbucksStore.com and in Starbucks stores. It comes with an easy-to-use French Press and a pound of Sumatra Blend Coffee.
For Dad: Dads always seem like the hardest to shop for, but every Dad has his weird obessions. Some may have a ridiculous obsession for Star Trek, and others like fly-fishing. If that’s the case, go for it! It’s always great to give someone a gift that you know will be meaningful to them, however goofy it may be.
For Your Siblings: Fights and all, you know that your siblings deserve a good gift- after all, they put up with you everyday. It all depends on age and gender, but for the purposes of looking for gifts everyone would enjoy, I would suggest going for something in the electronics, like video games or accessories for their game system or a new digital camera.
For Your Significant Other: Whether you have been dating for 2 years or one month, it is important to get the object of your affection something memorable. You can take them out to a classic romantic dinner (The Cheesecake Factory and Claim Jumper are a few of my favorite restaurants).
Giving the gift of an experience is great because it will be something that both of you can enjoy. However, sometimes it is nice to give them something material. One of the few accessories that you can buy for your boyfriend is a nice wallet, like the Fossil Chicago Extra Capacity Leather Wallet for $25 on Macys.com, and paired with a band or concert tee, you will be set. For your girlfriend, nothing says ‘romantic’ more than jewelry, and believe it or not, you can find some good deals, like the 10 Ruby & 6 Diamond Accent Heart Pendant for $59.99 on Kmart.com.
For Your Friends: True friends are hard to come by and you want to make sure that your friends know that their friendship means a lot to you. For girls, purses are one item that you can’t have enough of. Charlotte Russe has some great purses, and I especially liked their pricetag on their Patent Patchwork Tote for $29.99. True, the process can be a little exhausting, but once you see how happy you have made your loved ones, in the end, it will be worth it. If all else fails, you can always get them a giftcard.
