The Music Department at Moorpark College will be presenting, “A Musical Offering” on September 27th, which will include music from various artists as well as Moorpark College faculty members.
The event coordinator and long-time faculty member Joan Thompson believes that students will really enjoy the performances.
“It will be a fabulous concert and you can watch our staff perform,” she said.
The event will take place at 8:00 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. Thompson will be playing the piano and performing with Marilyn Anderson. Other performers include, Dolly Kessner, Melinda Bateman, Yi-Ting Chen, Roger Mason, Christina De Klotz, and many others.
The artists will be performing both standard and electric music. Professor Tony Wardzinski will also premiere his composition for the “Live Elevator Music Project.”
The money that is raised at the concert will be used as scholarships and will be awarded to students at the end of the school year.
