Showcasing student knowledge is the goal for the first campus-wide poster session at Moorpark College this Multicultural Day.”We hope to make this an annual event,” said Cynthia Barnett, Sociology professor and Honors program facilitator. “All currently enrolled Moorpark College students from any discipline are welcome to participate.”According to Barnett, the value of a poster session is to allow students to have their accomplishments recognized and spotlighted.”Motivated to measure up to standards of excellence, the completion of a project generates a sense of pride and fulfillment,” said Barnett.
