Brendan Constantine is the poet guest to be featured at “The Read” accompanied by faculty member Joelle Hannah, promising an exciting evening full of poetry.
Constantine is known for his dreamy abstraction and the emotional ferocity of his work both on the page and on the stage. Constantine has helped to shape the poetry scenes of Southern California. He is an ardent supporter of Southern California’s poetry communities and one of its most recognized poets.
He is currently poet in residence at The Windward School. Brendan is also very proud of his work with the Alzheimer’s Poetry Project.
“The Read” is known for the support that it gives to students and up-and-coming poets/writers by giving them the chance to express their talent through the opem mic.
This month, “The Read” will host the open mic session on Nov. 13 at 5:30 at 3rd floor of the Moorpark College Library.
