Clubs are gearing up for their first ever yard sale.
Raider Walk and parts of the quad will be littered with miscellaneous items, varying from clothing to textbooks, all available for sale.
Clubs will be selling donated items on Wednesday, Feb. 12 as an effort to raise money for the semester’s activities. The Associated Students are arranging this event in hopes of easing the pressure away from their budget, according to Director of Public Relations Andrew Anderson.
“This gives the clubs an opportunity to make their own money,” said Anderson.
25 clubs are expected to show up with different articles for display on booths and blankets. Club members will donate personal items to sell on behalf of their respective clubs.
The event will work and feel much like a neighborhood yard sale, which are often held on multiple adjacent yards.
This is the first club yard sale, but there are high hopes to make it an annual event, said Anderson.
This is a great opportunity for students to find and purchase any interesting, useful, or unusual items while helping out the campus clubs.
