Young entrepreneurs are scheduled to visit Ventura College to show students how to be successful, just like them.
The Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour, or EET, is an event that shows hopeful entrepreneurs methods to becoming successful at an early age. The EET is full of workshops, keynote speakers, and presentations by entrepreneurs that will help students with their innovative ideas.
The EET brings young, successful, local entrepreneurs, all less than 25 years of age, to each tour stop to share their success stories with students. These entrepreneurs relate how they got an early start on one of their ideas, which led to their eventual success.
The goal of the EET is simple, according to Kate MacKinnon, project manager of the EET.
“To help students uncover what their goals and passions are,” said MacKinnon.
The EET supports the goals of the students by providing role models and showing example of other entrepreneurs’ successes. These entrepreneurs show students new mindsets to help them find success through planning, prioritizing, and pursuing of their visions.
The tour stops by the Ventura College Theater Wednesday, October 21, from 3-7 p.m. It is free to attend, but space is limited.
