Students at Moorpark College have a chance to save a life today and tomorrow by donating blood with the United Blood Services.
Students have been working to do their part at Moorpark, and believe that now is the time to help with the urgent need for safe and stable blood supply.
“There is too much crap in this world not to give help,” said Jonathon Connolly, 21, political science major. “I give blood as often as I can.”
The Blood Service van is located in front of the cafeteria, and students looking to sign up should do so in front of Fountain Hall or at the donation location.
The Donor Services Victoria Van Allen was sitting in front of Fountain Hall encouraging people to sign up and donate.
“We need more heroes,” said Van Allen. “We need more heroes to step up and give blood.”
