Financial Aid Awareness Week will be taking place in Fountain Hall next week to help students with everything they need to know about financial aid.

The event runs from Monday, April 21 to Wednesday, April 23 and will give students many means to learn about financial aid opportunities along with help on the FAFSA or Dream App.

“Its an open forum for students to come that maybe don’t have financial aid or are going to be new students next year,” says Kim Korinke, Moorpark Colleges Financial Aid Officer. “It’s for any student who has questions about financial aid.”

Along with offering answers to any questions students may have, there will also be “Financial Aid Bingo” and various giveaways including flash drives and student notebooks.

The event runs each day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., but the Financial Aid Office is always open to take any questions students may have. Look for the financial aid tent on Raider Walk next week or go to the financial aid office for more info.
