In celebration of Halloween, the public can watch animal shows in their costumes at America’s Teaching Zoo’s annual event and fundraiser, Boo at the Zoo, on Oct. 25-26, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The event will provide family entertainment for both adults, and young children.

“Boo at the Zoo is an opportunity to learn about some of the more misunderstood animals such as spiders and snakes,” said Kris Romero, zoo operations assistant.

Animal shows will be given by EATM students every hour on the hour. There will also be a parade that goes down America’s Teaching Zoo.

Guests have the chance to participate in face painting, games, and trick-or-treating. Children are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes.

“This event has always been fun filled and family friendly,” said Romero.

The Boo at the Zoo event is $5 for members of the zoo, $6 for kids, and $8 for adults.
