America’s Teaching Zoo will host it’s seasonal event, “Arctic Lights” providing a chance for guests to play in real snow.

The annual event, at Moorpark College runs through Saturday, Dec. 6 to Sunday, Dec. 7 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“Guests can expect a fun winter-themed weekend here at the zoo,” said instructional technician for EATM Mara Rodriguez.

In addition to playing in the snow, the event will also feature animal shows and will have food vendors.

Tickets for the event can be purchased at the gate. Tickets for children aged 2 to 12 and seniors are $6, while tickets for adults are $8 and those with an annual membership to the zoo get in for $5. Children under 2 get in for free.
