Luis Pablo Sanchez will be the new Moorpark College President.
On Tuesday the Board of Trustees finalized their votes.
“I am pleased Luis plans to join the District and lead Moorpark College,” said Chancellor Jamillah Moore in a statement.
After having Dr. Bernard Luskin for a year as Moorpark’s interim president, the school will finally have a new president. This comes after a nationwide search that resulted in three finalists for the Board to decide on leaving Sanchez as the winner.
“He understands the importance of student success in the California community college system, and his depth of experience and expertise will benefit Moorpark College employees, students, and the community,” said Moore.
Starting on Feb. 23, Sanchez will be the new president for Moorpark College.
