The International Student Organization of Moorpark College provides a community for students of varying backgrounds.
“The organization has students from all around the world,” said Kirstin Maleham, a member originally from the U.K.
There are various activities for the organization’s members. Tours to Warner Brothers, trips to Hollywood, bowling and pool parties are some of the events they can partake in.
International students are not citizens and cannot apply for financial aid. Because of this the International Student Organization wants to set up a scholarship fund for its members.
Events like club rush, tours and trips generate funds for activities and potentially, scholarships.
The organization meets on the third Wednesday of each month in Fountain Hall 210.
