Dr. Luis P. Sanchez started his first day on campus as the new president of Moorpark College on Monday.
Sanchez said for the first 90 days he wants to make it his priority to go around campus to get to know the school, its faculty and its students.
The biggest difference between Allan Hancock College, where he was the vice president of academic affairs, and Moorpark College is that Allan Hancock is a smaller college.
“Compare to other campuses I’ve seen, this school is very beautiful,” said Sanchez.
