Moorpark community members of all ages are invited to enjoy the free Holiday Movie Marathon set to take place next Saturday, Dec. 21.
Guests will be entertained with an array of holiday movies, games between showings and concessions available for purchase.
“This has been an annual event for a couple of years now,” Recreation Coordinator Victoria Peterson said. “The event is presented by the City of Moorpark in conjunction with the High Street Arts Center.”
This year’s movie selections include “Frosty the Snowman,” “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” “Santa Claus is Coming to Town,” “A Muppet Christmas Carol,” “A Christmas Story” and will finish off the evening with “Elf.”
“We have a lot of partners and sponsors for this event,” Peterson said. “There will be movies playing and little contests in between where you can win gift cards as prizes.”
Competitions and games with prizes include an Ugly Sweater Contest, Bingo and a Christmas Trivia.
This year’s Holiday Movie Marathon will take place on Saturday, Dec. 21 at the High Street Art Center. Doors open at 10 a.m. with the last movie starting at 5 p.m.
