Opinion: Performance-Enhancing Drugs leaves Bonds and Clemens out of the Hall of Fame

The Baseball Hall of Fame vote has once again come in 2022. In his first year of eligibility, David Ortiz was the only player selected with a voting percentage of 77.9%. In their final year of eligibility, Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens did not receive the required 75% votes needed to be elected to the Hall.

After a 0-1 loss in the first game of the doubleheader, the Moorpark Raiders bounced back against Oxnard College on Saturday afternoon. Game two was quite the opposite of the low-scoring first game.

While it was uncertain for a long time, baseball is finally back at Moorpark College.

A sports fan would be hard-pressed not to mention the great Black athletes of the '40s, '50s and '60s that broke into segregated American sports, forever changing the sports landscape as the country knew it.
