Thieves left roughly $2500 in damages after stealing five catalytic converters from Moorpark College maintenance and operations (M&O) vehicles parked on the Moorpark College campus over President’s Day weekend last month.

TOPD arrests two after seizing 40 guns, 1000 rounds of ammunition and over 50 grams of narcotics

Two suspects were arrested in Thousand Oaks for possession of narcotics and illegal firearms. Detectives from the Thousand Oaks Police Department’s Directed Enforcement Unit (DEU) seized over 40 firearms and over 1,000 rounds of ammunition during the service of a search warrant at the 1900 block of Rory Lane, Simi Valley.

Oxnard church volunteer arrested for several sexual assaults in Ventura County

On Feb. 12, 2021, a 14-year-old girl reported to the Oxnard Police Department that she had been lured to a local motel under the pretenses of a cleaning job, where she was then allegedly sexually assaulted by 44-year-old Oxnard resident Isaias “Carlos” Vasquez according to a media release by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office.
