Country Fire fully contained after burning 28 acres north of Westlake High School

On Thursday afternoon a brush fire was reported just up the road from Westlake High School. The fire, dubbed the Country Fire, quickly grew to 28 acres triggering mandatory evacuations of over 1100 residents.

On April 4, 2021 around 3:45 P.M. Ventura County Fire Department responded to a reported brush fire near Cottonwood Drive and Westwood Street in Simi Valley.

Firefighters extinguish the Broadway fire in Moorpark as flames reach up to 120 feet

On March 28, 2021 at 8:13 P.M. Ventura County Fire Department was called to the 11000 block of Broadway Road in Moorpark, CA for reports of a vegetation fire. When VCFD Engine 42 arrived on scene, they observed a row of eucalyptus trees engulfed in flames reaching 120 feet high.
