Moorpark Raiders leave Antelope Valley Marauders scoreless in both games of the doubleheader

Clear skies and perfect weather paved the way for the Moorpark College Raiders on Saturday as they swept away both games of the double header from the Antelope Valley College Marauders. In the first game of the doubleheader, Moorpark Pitcher, Cole Kennedy, did not show any mercy to the Marauders as they left game one with zero hits.

Moorpark Raider baseball falls to Ventura Pirates in doubleheader bringing them to 5-5 in the season

This heartbreak was certainly present Saturday as the Moorpark College Raiders lost both games to their county rival, the Ventura College Pirates, in a doubleheader. The Raiders lost 9-1 and 12-3 in the first and second game respectively.

Moorpark College Raiders defeat Ventura College Pirates 3-2 in a last-minute rally

Moorpark College Raiders anticipate the return of baseball after year-long hiatus due to COVID-19

Moorpark College baseball players excited to return to action this spring amid pandemic. Spring wouldn't be the same if there wasn't a perfectly manicured diamond with ballplayers competing in America's great pastime. While it was uncertain for a long time, baseball is finally back at Moorpark College.

VCCCD to decide on Friday if Spring II sports will return to Moorpark, Oxnard, and Ventura colleges

The decision on whether Moorpark participates in Spring II sports will be released Friday, Feb. 26. If the Ventura County Community College District decides to opt-in, baseball, softball, men and women’s track and field, men’s golf, beach volleyball and men’s volleyball will be participating.
