Melissa Brueckner ‘Mel B’ led the offense with 9 kills and 2 blocks. Mariana Kediza followed with 7 kills and prior to going down Lauren Burt had 18 assists.

The squad has now won four in a row and has gone 15-3 in sets in their 5 wins this season.

The Ladies remain undefeated at home at 2-0. The Lady Raiders have a rough schedule being on the road so often but they were not phased and played their game. After Oct. 29th the team will have a four game home stand lasting until Nov. 14th.

Since WSC conference play began the Lady Raider squad has stuck to their game plan, had very little hiccups in their offense and defense and the result has been their impressive conference record of 5-1.

“We will be very difficult to beat[when sticking to the game plan]” Hoekler added “And could very possibly go all the way.”

The season has six games remaining for the Lady Raiders, four at home & two on the road. The team is extremely confident as they are nearing in the finish of the 2014 regular season. The team is equally confident in what the potential post season holds for the Lady Raiders.

“We’ve proved to ourselves that we can play as well [in games] as we do in practice” said Chodak “So we are excited to see where the season takes us”
