Moorpark College will be hosting the Raider Pentathlon Expo in the Moorpark College quad on Wednesday, April 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event will cover five exercises each lasting 60 seconds. The events include tire flipping, tire pulls, viper jousting, cry babies, and the rabbit barrier.

“We want to remind people to move,” said fitness specialist intern Sean Luck. “We don’t want people to just sit around in their classes.”

The event will also feature a 8 1/2 foot wall for people to scale if they’d like where they can get their photo taken at the top.

“There is something for everyone here,” said Luck. “We want this to be a wake up call for people with new challenges.”

There will be a taco truck on the premises so people have access to food.

The cost of the event will be $10 for early registration with a current Moorpark College ID card and faculty and staff. Without an ID card, the cost will be $15 and for day of registration it will cost $20.

“We are hoping to see everyone possible that can make it,” said Luck. “We are projecting 200 plus but are hoping for much more.”
