A part of receiving your associates degree and transferring is getting an IGETC (The Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum) plan.

Students get these plans when they see a counselor and it helps navigate students through their community college careers.

Associated Students and the Student Voice asked if students felt their IGETC requirements helped them.

Thirty-six percent of students did not feel they helped out. While 29 percent of the vote felt neutral towards the question.

Twenty-one percent of the participants felt that they were strongly helped and 14 percent of the vote just felt satisfactory with their IGETC requirements.

A total of 14 voters participated in the vote from Nov. 16 to Nov. 23.
